Solarsat Antenna has all the functions of a regular satellite antenna plus a unique feature that adjusts or confirm an angle of antenna by using sun shadow. Solarsat Antenna consists of: a scale bar, which makes a shadow; a scale on which to read the position of shadow; a level; a Solarsat holder; and an antenna.
- You can use a satellite receiver, which has Solarsat program inside.
- You can click shadow calculation in Solarsat homepage and calculate.
- You can install and use Solarsat program in your PC. (by downloading it or getting a CD)
- When the sun shines into the Solarsat Antenna, it casts a shadow on the scale bar in a dish. If you move the angle of the dish, the shadow moves, too. Just set a shadow cross point as Solarset program directs for perfect alignment.
- Solarsat program tells where to set shadow cross point.

Put information (your location, desired satellite, date and time, antenna model) in Solarsat program, and then, it will tell you the exact shadow cross point at once. There are three ways to use Solarsat program.
- Solarsat can be used even when it is cloudy.
- Conventional antennas can be installed only by level meter, but Solarsat can be installed by either level meter (installers) or sun.
